I am very pleased to be a Preferred Supplier for the beautiful Goodnestone House, catering for house rentals as well as weddings in the grounds. The stunning location provides the perfect backdrop for a celebration of any kind.

I also work with a number of local wedding venues including:

Preston Court, Wilderness Wedding Venue, Swarling Manor and Crown Lodge

I am equally happy setting up in a catering tent in a family garden or by the side of a lake. Wherever takes your fancy, there’s a way to make it happen.

For larger events I have an experienced front of house manager to keep the day running smoothly who coordinates a team of friendly, well presented waiting staff.

Working with other event suppliers is one of the perks of the job. The number of talented people working in hospitality, styling and general magic in creating a perfect day is amazing. Here are a selection of suppliers I would recommend.

The Kitchen

Having had my passion for food ignited by a local restaurant where I worked as a waitress, I went on to train as a Cordon Bleu chef. Training in a classically French style, I have taken the skills learnt and adapted them to create a modern twist on the classics. Focusing on your preferences and style I aim to create a truly bespoke service from start to finish.

For food to be delicious, the preparation is as important as the service. My kitchen is in beautiful Canterbury and my suppliers are local to the area. With meat and fish from Worgan’s Butchers and The Fish Stall at The Goods Shed, speciality game from Turner’s Game and fruit and veg from local farm shops or homegrown, the food miles are kept as low as can be.

Just One Cook is proud to have been given a 5 star food hygiene rating by Canterbury City Council.
